CRM application for an independent design consultancy
Project Description
Design Wales provides a free and independent design support service for Welsh industry, funded by the Welsh Assembly Government. As part of this service the Design Wales advisors facilitate projects by connecting the businesses developing these projects with companies that are able to offer the expertise to assist in successfully realising these projects. Having worked successfully with Design Wales clients, Design Wales selected Propona to deliver several of their own internal projects including the SeeDesign web site, their main web site and the ClientLog project.
Design Wales had an existing bespoke CRM application they primarily used to log the work undertaken on behalf of clients. As part of the ClientLog project Design Wales wished to extend the functionality of the application to meet their changing business model and to enhance the reporting aspects to satisfy WAG funding requirements. They also wished to change the technological basis of the application to provide a more stable and scalable solution moving forward.
